Setting up an Android device

Add as new account

Open the Settings menu and go to Accounts (& sync settings) on your device.
The Accounts settings screen displays your current sync settings and a list of your current accounts.
Touch Add account.
Touch Google to add your Google Apps account.
You will be prompted to Sign in to your Okta account using your schibsted.com address. Exampel: adam.smith@schibsted.com.
Enter your full Google Apps email address as your username, and then enter your password.
Select which services you’d like to sync.

Edit existing schibsted.com account

1. If you already have an schibsted.se account set up you just edit the login credentials to schibsted.com instead of schibsted.se and sign in to Okta.

2. Verify using your 2-step verification factor (such as text message code, Google Authenticator, Okta Verify etc). If you do not have such a code set up already you will be given the option of doing so when signing in the first time, simply follow the on-screen instructions.

Sync

Notice when you select what services to sync, there is a bunch of them. Calendar, Contacts, Drive and Chrome should be the core services. Dependent on how many Google developed applications you have installed on your device you will have more or less sync options. We recommend to sync as much as possible to the cloud.

Google Play Store purchased items

Unfortunately, purchases bought in Google Play store with your Schibsted account will not be migrated and will therefor be lost. A transfer of your purchases is not supported by Google.

We recommend in the future to use a private account for purchasing apps and other items in Google Play Store.
